Overview

Clarendon College, the oldest institution of higher education in the Texas Panhandle, was founded in 1898 and is now a public two-year community college with its main campus in Clarendon and branch campuses in Pampa and Childress.The college offers associate degree and certificate programs in areas such as agriculture, nursing, and liberal studies, and has an open enrollment policy that is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for students of all backgrounds.In addition, Clarendon College is a member of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) with sports teams in basketball, baseball, volleyball and rodeo.
