Overview

Founded in 1967, Community College of Denver (CCD) is the only public two-year college in Denver, Colorado, located on the downtown Auraria Campus and sharing campus resources with two four-year universities. The college offers more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs in business, nursing, engineering, information technology, dental hygiene, and other fields to support students in their careers or in transferring to a four-year university to continue their education.CCD is a Hispanic-serving institution with a diverse student body, with more than 60 percent being first-generation college students in their families. The college focuses on practice-oriented education and offers flexible learning options, including face-to-face, distance and online courses, to meet the learning needs of a variety of students.
