Dallas College – Cedar Valley Campus is a public community college that is part of the Dallas College system. The 265-acre campus serves the South Dallas and North Ellis County areas and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs in areas such as veterinary technology, automotive technology, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, commercial music, and law enforcement academy. The school focuses on practice-oriented education and has industry-cooperative programs, such as automotive technology courses in partnership with Snap-On and Fiat-Chrysler, and commercial music courses taught by Grammy-nominated teachers. In addition, Cedar Valley Campus also offers distance education options to meet the learning needs of different students.
