Friends University was founded in 1898 and is located in Wichita, Kansas. It is a non-sectarian private university with a Quaker tradition. The campus is over 50 acres, with small classes (teacher-student ratio is about 12:1), more than 60 undergraduate and graduate majors, and popular fields include business, education, art and cybersecurity. The campus atmosphere is close, community service and industry internships are valued, and the sports team "Falcons" participates in NAIA competitions. The campus has both historical charm and urban resources.
