Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Clarkston, Georgia. It has multiple campuses in Covington, Conyers, Lithonia, and other places, serving DeKalb, Newton, and Rockdale counties. The school offers more than 180 applied associate, diploma, and certificate programs, covering five major technical fields such as medicine, engineering, business management, computer science, and public safety. It also has GED and English as a second language adult education programs. It is one of the largest adult education colleges in the state. GPTC focuses on practical skills and student development, with a graduation rate of nearly 70%, an employment rate of up to 100%, and provides a 100% online degree path to flexibly meet the needs of all types of students.
