Overview

James A. Rhodes State College (also known as Rhodes State College) is located in Lima, Ohio. It began with technical education in 1969, was officially established in 1971, and was renamed in 2002 to commemorate Governor Rhodes. The campus is shared with Ohio State University-Lima, and has more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs covering technology, health, engineering, agriculture and other fields, as well as online and high school and college dual enrollment programs. It covers an area of about 565 acres and has complete facilities, including advanced laboratories, nursing centers, dental clinics and corporate training centers, with close academic and community ties. The school adheres to the "student-oriented" principle, serves more than ten counties in the region, and provides practical education and workplace connection.
