Overview

University of Cincinnati - Clermont College, a regional public college in the Ohio University Cincinnati system, was founded in 1972 and is located in Montgomery County, Ohio to serve the local community. The college offers associate degree and vocational certificate programs with majors in business, health sciences, STEM, and education, with an emphasis on low-cost, rapid completion and seamless transfer to the main campus or to other four-year institutions. The college's main campus is located on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene in a beautiful setting on a 77-acre campus that offers modern facilities and a wide range of extracurricular activities.NIC partners with other institutions of higher learning around the state to offer a diverse range of educational options. However, in recent years, the college has faced accreditation challenges due to board governance issues and has been placed on a “show-cause” status by the Northwest Commission on Higher Education (NWCCU) to demonstrate that its governance structure meets accreditation standards. Nonetheless, NIC remains committed to providing a quality education and is actively working to improve its governance structure for the benefit of its students.
