Overview

Founded in 1927, St. Petersburg College was the first two-year college in Florida and the first community college in the state to offer baccalaureate degrees. The college offers more than 200 academic and vocational programs, including associate's and bachelor's degrees and short-term vocational certificates in fields such as nursing, business, engineering technology, the music industry and more.With 11 campuses in the Tampa Bay area and more than 34,000 students, SPC offers flexible online and face-to-face learning options. With a focus on career orientation and student support, the college offers tuition at about half the cost of state universities, high graduate employment rates, and an economic impact of more than $3 billion.
