The University of Northwestern – St.Paul (UNW) was founded in 1902 in Rhodesville, a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota. It is a private Christian liberal arts university. The campus is built on a lake, covers an area of about 107 acres, has small classes (teacher-student ratio is about 15:1, an average of 22 students per class), and offers 50+ undergraduate majors and 5 master's programs. The total number of students is about 3,260, including traditional undergraduates and adult education.
