The University of Northwestern – St.Paul (UNW) was founded in 1902 in Rhodesville, a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota. It is a private Christian liberal arts university. The campus is built on a lake, covers an area of about 107 acres, has small classes (teacher-student ratio is about 15:1, an average of 22 students per class), and offers 50+ undergraduate majors and 5 master's programs. The total number of students is about 3,260, including traditional undergraduates and adult education. The school focuses on faith growth, internships and campus life, and has NCAA Division III sports teams, more than 30 clubs, campus radio, art center and other facilities.
