Overview

The University of the Ozarks (Ozarks for short), located in Clarksville, Arkansas, is a historic private Christian liberal arts college. Founded in 1834, it is one of the oldest universities in Arkansas.

The school is located at the foot of the picturesque Ozark Mountains, covers an area of about 45 acres, and offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, covering the fields of humanities, business, education, psychology, etc.

Ozarks focuses on small class teaching, with a teacher-student ratio of about 14:1, and is committed to cultivating students' critical thinking, communication skills and community responsibility.

The school also offers a wealth of extracurricular activities and organizations, and students can participate in about 50 campus clubs and organizations. In addition, Ozarks also has the Jones Learning Center, which provides support for students with learning disabilities. It is one of the first programs in the United States to provide comprehensive support for college students. The school's mission is to cultivate students' all-round development in academics, spirituality and social responsibility, and is committed to providing students with a fulfilling college experience.
