Wallace State Community College-Hanceville is located in Hanceville, Alabama, USA. It was founded in 1966 and was originally named George C. Wallace State Trade School of Cullman County in honor of then-Governor George Wallace. The school currently has about 6,000 students and offers more than 50 associate degree and certificate programs covering academic, health and technical fields. The college's main campus is located in Hanceville, and there is also a technical center in Oneonta.
Walace State Community College-Hanceville focuses on student success and provides a variety of support services, including free tutoring, mental health counseling and food pantries.
